SPECTRAL IN EUROPE

A first European Tour: April 20-28, 2023

This tour by the improvising, all-horn trio SPECTRAL (Ochs,  Dave Rempis, Darren Johnston) runs to 8 cities in 4 countries. After numerous appearances in the USA, this will be the trio's first European jaunt. Really looking forward to getting out and playing in this trio for the first time since Covid took over.

* Note that the first four concerts, produced by the Antwerpen organization “SOUND IN MOTION,” are double bills shared with an improvising trio consisting of Portuguese bassist Hugo Antunes, Belgian drummer Nicolas Chkifi, and the Amsterdam-based, Polish pianist Marta Warelis. Trio sets and spontaneous re-formations for improvising will take place. SPECTRAL plays a full set as a trio in Antwerp on April 20, but does not play a full set as a trio on April 21 as the April 21 show is dedicated to spontaneous formations between the six musicians.
